Cool, earthy khus for the height of summer.
Ruh Khus Itra is an alcohol-free vetiver attar on a roller: deep, earthy and cool, with a root-like character that recalls wet soil after the first rain. Khus is the classic attar of Indian summers, and people choose it for grounding and steadiness on long workdays, while travelling and before meditation.
Why it is chosen
- Traditionally tied to the root chakra and to Saturn, the planet of patience, endurance and steady effort.
- It carries the scent of the khus screens once hung wet in Rajasthani doorways, so it smells cool even in May.

Care and safety
Keep the bottle upright and tightly capped somewhere cool and shaded, away from water and direct heat, which matters most in summer. Before the first wear, try a little on your inner arm and stop if any redness appears. Never swallow it, and keep it clear of eyes, children and pets; if you are pregnant, nursing or under medical care, ask your doctor first. Between uses, a quiet rest in its usual place is all it needs.
