Dense black stone for a steady threshold.
Dense, dark and precision-cut to one clean point, this black tourmaline laser wand was hand-selected for its weight and structure. Black tourmaline is often called a protection stone, and people choose it to make an entrance or desk feel grounded and orderly; we offer it as exactly that, with no warding claims. Many keep it near the main door.
Why it is chosen
- Its traditional links are the root chakra, Saturn and earth, all tied to steadiness and firm boundaries.
- Chosen for entryways and home offices, as a quiet marker of where work ends and home begins.
- Opaque and dense in the hand at about 210 g, it reads as calm weight rather than decoration.
How to use it
- Stand it point upward near the main door, or lay it on your desk with the tip facing the work in front of you.
- As you come into the room, let your eyes rest on it for one slow breath and settle into the space.
- Keep it away from the bed, and if you ever feel drained around it, move it to a room you use less.
Is it right for you
People moving into a new home or setting up a home office who want the entrance and desk to feel settled.
If evil eye symbolism is what you are looking for, the Evil Eye Crystal Hanging carries that tradition openly; this wand is a quieter grounding piece. See it here.

Care
Black tourmaline is a robust stone, yet a fall onto a hard floor can still chip the tip, so store the wand lying on a padded surface. Dust it with a dry cloth, and keep it away from harsh chemicals and long hours of direct sun. Traditionally, a night on a selenite plate or the ring of a bell nearby is enough to cleanse it.
Questions
Does black tourmaline protect from negative energy?
We do not make protection claims. Crystal tradition calls it a protection stone, and many people keep it as a grounding presence by the door or desk, which is how we offer it.
Where should I place a black tourmaline wand at home?
Near the main entrance, on a work desk or in a meditation corner. We suggest keeping it away from the bed.
Is this real black tourmaline?
Yes. Every piece is lab tested and certified, and once your order arrives you can look up its certificate with your order number on our Lab Certificates page.
The Pocket Book of Stones。
