Deep green banding for times of change.
This malachite hanging brings together natural stones, each marked with fine bands of light and dark green, on metal hardware. Malachite is the stone people often reach for in times of change and fresh starts, and for the decisions that come with them. Many hang it in a workspace, strategy room or entryway as a steady reminder to choose deliberately.
Why it is chosen
- Traditionally associated with the heart chakra, with Venus and with earth, a grounded kind of warmth.
- Often hung where plans get made: a home office, a strategy room or beside the front door.
- No two pieces share the same banding, so each hanging carries its own pattern.
How to use it
- Hang it at a threshold or in the room where you plan, with clearance around it.
- When a change is on the table, pause beneath it and name the one thing you intend to shift.
- Then let it be a steady daily presence.
Is it right for you
Leaders, planners and anyone in a season of change, from a new role to a new city.
If love and softness at home matter more to you than change, the Rose Quartz Hanging is the heart chakra stone most people choose. See it here.

Care
Malachite is soft and porous, so keep it strictly away from water, salt, acids and cleaning sprays. Dust it with a soft dry cloth, and hang it where nothing can knock it. For a traditional cleanse, let the sound of a singing bowl or bell fill the room instead of using water or salt.
Questions
Is this real malachite?
Yes. Every piece is lab tested and certified, and once your order arrives you can look up its certificate with your order number on our Lab Certificates page.
Why must malachite stay dry?
Because it is a soft, porous stone. Water and cleaning products can dull its surface, so dust it instead of washing it.
Where should I hang a malachite hanging?
In a workspace, a planning room or an entryway. In feng shui, green and the east are linked with growth and fresh starts, so an east wall is a traditional choice.
Is it a good gift for a new job?
Yes. It suits a promotion, a move or a new venture, as a quiet marker of the change.
