Brassy and mirror-bright, this raw pyrite cluster measures about 6 cm on each side in the reference piece. Care
Keep pyrite completely dry: it is an iron mineral and tarnishes or rusts if it sits in damp air or meets water. Avoid bathrooms and humid windowsills, and dust it with a soft dry brush or cloth. For a traditional cleanse, rest it on a selenite plate overnight.
