Slow growth is still growth.
Look into moss agate and you will see green, fern-like threads suspended in pale stone, as if a small garden were caught inside. This 30 mm coin is polished smooth for pocket, wallet or desk, and is chosen for patience and steady growth by people working on things that take time.
Why it is chosen
- Traditionally linked with the heart and root chakras, and with Venus and the elements of earth and water.
- Often chosen for a new business, a rebuilding year or any long goal where steady progress matters more than speed.
- No two stones grow their green threads the same way, so every coin's pattern is its own.
How to use it
- Relax your shoulders, hold the coin loosely and breathe in for 6 and out for 6.
- Come back to it whenever impatience rises, from a pocket, a wallet or the desk.
- Shift its spot once a week so it never fades into the background.
Is it right for you
Builders, caregivers, gardeners, new business owners and anyone working towards something slow, and a fitting gift for a fresh start.
If you want quick results or a luck charm, moss agate's slow pace may frustrate you; for a firmer daily cue toward discipline, the Pyrite Coin is more direct. See it here.

Care
Moss agate is a hard agate and copes well with daily carry, though it is better wiped than soaked. Dry it with a soft cloth and keep it in a fabric pouch so the polish stays clear. For a traditional cleanse, rest it in moonlight for two to three hours at most.
Questions
Is this real moss agate?
Yes. Every piece is lab tested and certified, and once your order arrives you can look up its certificate with your order number on our Lab Certificates page.
Is moss agate a luck stone?
No. We offer it as a cue for patience and steady effort, not a charm for luck or quick results.
Will my coin look like the photo?
Close, but not identical. The green inclusions grow differently in every stone, so each coin is a little different.
The Pocket Book of Stones。
