Meaning

Angelite meaning

The pale, velvety blue of angelite belongs to anhydrite, a soft mineral that slowly alters to gypsum when it takes up water. Its colour, often clouded with white, recalls the sky at dusk. The Throat, Third Eye and Crown, the three upper chakras, are where crystal tradition places it, linking it with a softer close to the day and thoughts allowed to slow.

Worn as a bracelet in the evening, it becomes a small cue that work is over and rest can begin. It is no sleep aid, simply a calm presence alongside whatever care you rely on, and anyone who likes a gentle ritual to mark that change of pace may enjoy it.

Not yet profiled in the KUSHA canon: these notes come from our collection notes and crystal tradition.

Kept apart from moldavite. The KUSHA canon never pairs moldavite with a Crown stone: together they can open too much at once.

Real or fake

Is my angelite real?

We sell angelite as natural, and your lab certificate comes with your order.

  • Angelite’s natural colour is a soft, slightly greyish or lilac-tinged blue, often with faint white flecks or veins and a gentle, pearly sheen.
  • Very bright, even blue, or colour that deepens around drill holes and fissures, points to a dyed stone, often howlite.
  • Blue celestite and blue calcite can look much the same, so a close match may need expert identification.
