The practice
Living with malachite
-
Use it in short sessions
Wear the bracelet or hold the coin for a period of reflection, then set it aside. Malachite is not a comfort stone for all day.
-
Give it a place of honour
A malachite sphere on a shelf lets you enjoy its bands without handling it constantly.
-
Keep it dry
Never put malachite in water, never use it for crystal water or elixirs, and wash your hands after handling raw pieces. Wipe with a dry cloth only.
Where most people begin

Questions
Asked often
What is malachite traditionally associated with?
In crystal traditions malachite is linked to the heart and solar plexus, and is often chosen for change and breaking old patterns. We share this as tradition, not as a medical claim.
Can I put malachite in water?
No. Malachite is a copper mineral and fairly soft. Water can dull its polish, and it should never be used to make crystal water or elixirs.
Can I wear malachite every day?
Many people prefer it in short sessions for reflection rather than all day. Take it off before bathing, cooking or applying perfume.
How do I cleanse malachite?
Use dry methods: a selenite tray, smoke from incense, or a few minutes in soft morning light. Never soak it.
