Pale light, softly filtered.
A selenite hanging of natural selenite sticks on a refined metal finish, about 210 g, spaced so light glows softly through the pale stone. Selenite is often chosen for calm, clarity and a quieter bedroom or meditation space, where hard window light turns gentle. It is a soft, delicate stone, so it belongs in a dry room, away from steam and splashes.

Care
Keep selenite completely dry: it is very soft and slowly dissolves in water, so never use a damp cloth or salt on it. Hang it where no door or window can knock it, because it scratches and breaks easily. Dust it with a soft dry cloth or brush, and for a traditional refresh, let it rest in moonlight on an indoor sill.
Questions
Can I wipe selenite with a damp cloth?
No. Selenite is water-sensitive and slowly dissolves, so use a dry cloth or a soft brush only.
Is selenite fragile?
Yes. It is one of the softest crystals, so hang it where it will not be knocked and handle it gently.
Where should I hang a selenite hanging?
A dry bedroom, meditation space or living-room window. Avoid bathrooms, kitchens and anywhere rain can reach.
