A slow glow for unhurried evenings.
Hand-polished to show its adularescence, the soft glow that seems to drift just beneath the surface, this 60 mm moonstone sphere is a quiet presence for the end of the day. Known in India as chandrakant, moonstone is often chosen for calm, rest and a gentler pace at home. Most people keep it on a bedside table, a shelf or a small altar.

Care
Moonstone has natural cleavage planes, so a knock on a hard surface can chip it. Lift it with both hands, keep it on a stable, padded spot and dust it with a soft dry cloth. Many people cleanse it the traditional way, letting it sit in moonlight on an indoor sill around the full moon.

Where should I place a moonstone crystal ball?
A bedroom or a quiet altar suits it best. In vastu tradition the north-west belongs to the Moon, so some keep it on that side of the room.
Is this real moonstone?
