Moonlight, kept on a quiet shelf.
Carved from moonstone, known in India as chandrakant, this small angel figurine has the soft, milky sheen the stone is loved for, and measures about 9 cm at its longest. Moonstone is a guardian angel crystal people give for comfort through change: a new baby, a move, a tender season. It belongs on a bedside table, a personal altar or a high nursery shelf.

Care
Moonstone can chip if it is knocked, so keep it on a padded surface away from shelf edges and heat. This is a small stone figure and never a toy, so keep it well out of children's reach. Dust it with a soft dry cloth. For a traditional cleanse, set it on an indoor sill under moonlight for two to three hours, no longer.

Can I keep a moonstone angel in a baby's nursery?
Yes, on a high shelf well out of reach. It is a small carving that could be swallowed or dropped, so it should never sit where a child can grab it.
