Sometimes called a laser point, this amethyst laser wand is natural Brazilian amethyst in a cool violet, precisely faceted to a single termination. Known in India as jamunia, amethyst is the stone most often chosen for calm, meditation and quiet focus, especially for study. Set it on a reading desk, in a study room or in a meditation corner.

Care
Amethyst can fade in long direct sun, so give it a shaded spot; a few minutes of morning light does no harm. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth, keep it away from sudden temperature changes, and handle the point carefully, because a knock can chip it. For a traditional reset, rest it overnight on a selenite plate.

Is a laser point the same as a laser wand?
Yes. Both names describe the same shape, a long crystal faceted to one termination, so you will find this piece listed either way.
Is this real amethyst?
