Three instruments
Check it before you do it.
Built on the KUSHA stone canon, our studio's written guide to every stone, and on plain mineralogy. What the mineral can bear comes first, our practice second, and we always tell you which is which.
Care, checked
Choose a stone to see every way to cleanse it, and the ways to avoid.
Pairing, checked
Choose two stones to see how they sit together in the KUSHA system.
Find your stone
Three questions. Three stones, chosen from the KUSHA matching sets, with the cautions read first.
What would you like to hold?
How have you felt lately?
Have you kept stones before?
See the whole care chart
| Stone | A brief rinse | A bed of salt | Morning sun | Moonlight | Smoke | Sound | A selenite plate |
|---|
Brief means seconds under running water or minutes of morning sun. When the mineral can bear a method but our practice skips it, the chart says so.
Open secrets
What the trade rarely says aloud.
Most of the crystal market is honest stone sold with careless words. Some of it is not stone at all. Here is what to know before you buy anywhere, including from us.

-
01
Most bright citrine began as amethyst.
Deep orange-gold citrine is usually amethyst baked in a kiln. Natural citrine is rarer and paler, from champagne to soft honey. A cluster with burnt-orange tips and a white base was almost certainly heated.
-
02
Opalite is glass.
Opalite is a man-made glass with a milky glow. It is lovely, and it is neither opal nor a natural crystal. We sell ours as glass, and say so on every product page.
-
03
Rainbow aura is coated quartz.
The rainbow is a thin film of metal fused onto natural quartz. That makes it a treated crystal, and the colour can scratch with rough handling. We call ours treated, in plain words.
-
04
Much turquoise is dyed howlite.
Howlite and magnesite are white, porous stones that take dye easily, so blue-dyed howlite is widely sold as turquoise. Real turquoise is a copper mineral, and it is often stabilised with resin. A good seller tells you which.
-
05
Hydro citrine is grown, not mined.
Hydro means hydrothermal: quartz grown in a laboratory from a seed crystal, under heat and pressure. It is real quartz, made by people, and it should be named and priced as lab-grown.
-
06
Most black agate is dyed.
Much of the black agate on the market, including a great deal sold as sulemani hakik, is grey agate soaked in sugar and acid until it turns black. It is an old craft. Natural black agate exists, but it is uncommon.
-
07
Moldavite is among the most copied stones on earth.
Real moldavite is a tektite, glass formed by a single meteorite impact in Central Europe about fifteen million years ago. Copies in bright green glass, with neat and even etching, now outnumber the real thing online. Price and provenance matter here more than anywhere.
-
08
Jade is two minerals, and many jades are neither.
True jade is nephrite or jadeite. A great deal sold as jade is serpentine, dyed quartz or glass, and in India green aventurine is often sold as Indian jade.
How we answer it
Every KUSHA crystal is lab tested and certified, and your certificate is tied to your order. Our opalite is sold as glass, our rainbow aura as treated quartz and our orgone as a resin composite. Ask us what any piece is, and we will tell you plainly.

IIPranic Healing
The healing that never touches you.
Pranic Healing was set out as a structured, teachable method by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, drawing on much older traditions of energy work. Every session follows the same logic.
- Never touchedThe hands stay a few inches from the body.
- Wherever you areBy video or phone from home. In Jaipur, ask us about coming in.
- 30 to 45 minutesFor most sessions, seated or lying down.
- Alongside medicineNever a replacement for your doctor.

How it works
Three movements, always in this order.
-
01
Scan
With sensitised hands, the healer feels the energy field around your body for areas that seem congested or depleted.
-
02
Cleanse
Slow sweeping movements lift away energy that feels heavy or used. It is released into a bowl of salt water, never back into the room.
-
03
Energise
Fresh prana is directed into the area, then steadied so it holds. Cleansing always comes first, so the new energy has somewhere to settle.
The map
Eleven energy centres, not seven.
Most people know the seven chakras of yoga. Pranic Healing works with eleven major centres, two of them on the back of the body. A healer reads each one and cleanses and energises only where it is needed.
-
01CrownAt the top of the head. Traditionally associated with spiritual connection.
-
02ForeheadCentre of the forehead. Associated with the nervous system and clarity.
-
03AjnaBetween the eyebrows. Called the master centre, linked with will and focus.
-
04ThroatAssociated with expression, communication and creativity.
-
05HeartCentre of the chest. Associated with peace, warmth and compassion.
-
06Solar PlexusBelow the breastbone. Where stress and strong emotion are said to gather.
-
07SpleenOn the left, below the ribs. Associated with taking in air prana and vitality.
-
08NavelAt the navel. Associated with digestion and general energy.
-
09Meng MeinOn the back, behind the navel. Associated with the flow of energy up the spine.
-
10SexAt the pubic area. Associated with vitality and creative energy.
-
11BasicAt the base of the spine. Associated with grounding, stamina and strength.
These associations come from the Pranic Healing tradition. They describe how practitioners understand the body, and are not medical findings.

The questions asked most
Do crystals really work?
Science has not shown that crystals heal or change what happens to you, and we will never claim they do. What people describe is quieter: a stone becomes a daily reminder of an intention, a pause, a small ritual that steadies them. Crystal traditions associate each stone with particular qualities, and we describe those as associations, not promises. What we can prove is what a stone is, which is why every stone we sell is lab tested before we say a word about it.
How we choose and test every stoneHow can I tell if a crystal is real?
At home you can rule out some fakes, but you cannot confirm a stone. Glass often shows tiny round bubbles and warms quickly in the hand. Dye tends to pool in cracks and drill holes. A rare stone at a very low price is a warning sign in itself. Only a laboratory can confirm identity and treatment, which is why every KUSHA crystal is lab tested and certified.
Lab certificatesHow do I choose my first crystal?
Start with what you would like it to hold: calm, steadiness, warmth, focus. Then trust your first response, because one stone often simply feels right. Finally check the practical things: is it real, will it suit where it lives, is the size right. One stone you notice every day is enough to begin.
How to choose a crystalWhich hand should I wear a crystal bracelet on?
In crystal traditions the left wrist receives and the right wrist expresses, so calming, heart and intuition stones such as amethyst and rose quartz go on the left, and stones for confidence, boundaries and letting go, such as pyrite, tiger's eye and black tourmaline, go on the right. In Pranic Healing either hand can receive or give, by intention, so comfort matters more than the rule: wear it where you will notice it.
Is there a crystal for anxiety?
No stone treats anxiety. If worry is shaping your days, or you live with a diagnosed condition, please speak to your doctor first. For a quieter mind, amethyst is the stone most often chosen, with smoky quartz, rose quartz and sodalite as gentle companions. In our practice, warm, activating stones such as citrine, carnelian, tiger's eye, sunstone and pyrite are not suggested in an anxious season.
Which crystal is good for money, career and confidence?
Citrine, pyrite, tiger's eye and green aventurine are the stones traditionally kept close for focus, drive and new opportunities, usually on a work desk. If you wear one, the right wrist is traditional, and one warm stone at a time is enough; we set them aside in an anxious season. They are reminders of the effort you are making, not a promise of money.
Confidence and abundanceWhich crystal is best for protection?
Black tourmaline is the stone most chosen for protection and grounding, with smoky quartz and sulemani hakik close behind; in our practice black obsidian is kept for experienced wearers. In crystal traditions, protection means steadier boundaries: feeling less drained by crowds, difficult people or a heavy space. These stones are often placed near the front door or kept on a desk.
ProtectionHow do I cleanse a crystal?
Choose a method that suits the stone. A selenite plate overnight is gentle and suits most small, dry pieces, though each stone guide says which methods we use for that stone. Moonlight on an indoor windowsill for three to five hours avoids the fading risk of sunlight; bring the stone in before you go to bed. A singing bowl or bell rung nearby for a minute, or a pass through incense smoke with a window open, are the other traditional ways.
The full care guideWhere should I place crystals at home?
Think of your home in zones. By the entrance, grounding stones such as black tourmaline or smoky quartz. On a desk, fluorite or amethyst for focus. In the bedroom, soft stones only: rose quartz, moonstone, amethyst in a corner. In a prayer or meditation corner, selenite and an amethyst cluster.
Crystals by formWhat is Pranic Healing?
A no-touch method of energy work, set out as a structured, teachable system by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui. A healer scans the energy field around your body, cleanses what feels heavy, then energises it with fresh prana. It is practised alongside medical care, never instead of it.
What is Pranic Healing? How does an online Pranic Healing session work?
You choose a session and a time in your own time zone and answer a few short questions. At your time you join by video or phone from a quiet room, talk briefly about what you are carrying, then sit or lie back, eyes closed, palms up, while the healer cleanses and energises. The healer closes the session, you talk about what you noticed, and you leave with a simple practice.
