Auralite 23 meaning
Auralite 23 is amethyst that carries a complex mix of other minerals within it, and the number in its name refers to the twenty-three minerals said to be found in it. Linked in crystal tradition with the Crown and the Third Eye, it is regarded as a strong stone, best kept to brief sittings now and then rather than everyday wear.
Sessions stay short in our collection notes, three to seven minutes and only occasionally, with the stone stored in a box away from the bedroom. It belongs with practitioners who already sit regularly and feel at home in their practice. Anyone newer to crystals is better served by plain amethyst, the gentler everyday choice.

Is my auralite 23 real?
Auralite 23 is amethyst with many mineral inclusions from one region of Canada, and ordinary amethyst is often sold under the name. We do not sell it at present.
- Auralite 23 is a trade name rather than a separate mineral, so testing can confirm amethyst with inclusions but not the name itself.
- The name describes purple of varying depth, with darker zones, specks of other minerals and phantoms, the faint outlines of earlier growth.
- A clean, evenly coloured crystal is simply amethyst.
- Glass or dyed quartz passed off under the name will look uniform from one end to the other.
