Meaning
Amazonite meaning
Amazonite takes its name from the Amazon River, though no deposit there has ever been confirmed; it is a green-blue microcline feldspar coloured by traces of lead. Unlike lapis, which declares, or blue lace agate, which soothes, it is the canon’s stone for truth spoken without collapse: honest about feeling, calm in conversation and firm about limits without aggression. The canon joins its two chakras, Throat and Heart, into what it calls the honest heart pathway, the route from feeling to words.
Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth with the stone held between chest and throat, and let the words be “My truth is gentle. My truth is steady.” People-pleasers are often drawn to it: those who struggle to voice their needs, fear hurting others, steer around conflict or lose themselves in relationships. It needs some steadiness to work kindly, so the canon waits when feelings are overwhelming or raw, and points anyone needing deep tenderness to rose quartz.
