Meaning
Super Seven meaning
Sometimes called melody stone, super seven is quartz in which seven minerals grew together: amethyst, clear quartz, smoky quartz, cacoxenite, rutile, goethite and lepidocrocite. Crystal tradition ties it to every chakra at once and keeps it for the practised rather than the curious, as a stone intense enough to be used sparingly.
Sessions, in our collection notes, are brief and deliberate: a few minutes, taken occasionally, in a room or corner set aside for the purpose. It suits people with a long, settled practice who already know how they respond to strong stones. If you are new to crystals, the notes point to amethyst or clear quartz as a gentler place to begin.
Not yet profiled in the KUSHA canon: these notes come from our collection notes and crystal tradition.

A note of care
Before you use it
For experienced practitioners: short sessions of three to seven minutes, used now and then.
Real or fake
Is my super seven real?
True super seven is a single quartz crystal with several minerals grown inside it; a piece made of separate stones set together is not super seven. We do not sell it at present.
- A genuine piece is quartz, cool and solid in the hand, with purple, smoky and clear zones.
- With a hand lens you should see fine needles or rust-red, brown and golden inclusions.
- Few pieces show all seven minerals to the eye, and amethyst with a scattering of red specks is often given the name loosely.
- Copies in glass or resin feel warm and light by comparison, and may contain bubbles.
Asked about super seven
Super Seven, answered
Can super seven go in water?
Not in our practice. Our practice keeps water cleansing for a few named stones only. The stone itself takes a brief rinse.
Can super seven go in the sun?
It can. Its amethyst can pale in long direct sun. It is not one of the methods we name for super seven, so we do not usually use it.
Can super seven be cleansed on salt?
Not in our practice. Our product care keeps finished pieces off salt. Dry salt would not harm the stone itself.
